Max’s Percussion Covers

As you know, my primary instrument at Nazareth College is percussion. Recently, I’ve wanted to display my talents in drumming to the whole world, so I’ve decided to make video clips of myself doing covers of popular songs and uploarding them on YouTube. So far, I’ve received good reception fron those videos and I hope to make more videos in the future when I have time to do so.

This is one of my personal favorite power ballads to listen to in my time. As a side, I am into 80s hair metal like Warrant, Bon Jovi, and Poison, and I thought that this is a good way to showcase my talents for slow tunes like this one.

As you know, I really enjoy listening to 80s music in my spare time. Therefore, this is another video that showcases my passion for drumming, as well as to prove that I can play in other styles besides hard rock and heavy metal. This is a pop-oriented tune, so it gives you a dance-like feel when you listen to it.

Hey Jude by Beatles (Cover on Vibraphone)

Finally, on a different note, this is a video of me covering a Beatles tune on vibraphone. As you know, I am well-known at Nazareth for my interests in playing and improvising on jazz vibraphone, so to play something on vibraphone is also a great way to display my talents for the whole world.
